Top 5 Tuesday: Books That Need a Spin Off Book/Series

Hello readers! Today is another Tuesday in November which means it’s time for a Top 5 Tuesday post!! This tag and prompt is created by the oh so wonderful Shanah @ Bionic Book Worm, so check out her amazing blog and join us on the Top 5 Tuesday posts. This weeks prompt is Top 5 books that need a spin off book/series. So let’s jump right in!

Heartless was only my 2nd fantasy read EVER and I instantly fell in love with it. To this day I still tell people that it’s one of my favorite books and I would love for Marissa Meyer to write a retelling of Alice’s Adventures In Wonderland with her character Cath as the Queen of Hearts. The book ended so perfectly for a sequel to just jump right in there. That would be so great!

I know some people may be over this series but I want more. I’d love to see Katniss and Peeta again in some spin-off series years down the road when their kids are older.

I also know that we are getting more from Maas on this series but I’d love to see Lucien more. If not in his own spin-off book, then more of him in general. He deserves so much better!

I’d love to see something on how Caraval started and how the mastermind behind it created it. I’d love to see how Legend grew up and how his plans for Caraval came to be. Maybe I’m just really excited for the sequel and need a reread it soon.

I love Khalid, don’t get me wrong, but it would be great to read more from this series. Possibly someone seeking revenge for their daughters death. Honestly, I would read anything more from this series.

Let me know what books you think need a spin off book or series. I hope you enjoyed reading and I’ll see you next time. Cya!

  2. Those all look like excellent candidates for spin-offs!
I honestly feel rather silly about mine, but the series that I’d love to get some more books in is the Star Wars: Galaxy of Fear series. It’s like Goosebumps, but for Star Wars.
    See why I feel silly?
Still, those were my absolute favorite books when I was in grade school. They were the first books that I simply could NOT put down. There were twelve books in the series and then….
That was it. They just ended. They had a building plot line running between all the books, but it never amounted to anything, and I’ve just felt this hole in my soul ever since–the pain of an unfinished story. I would LOVE to get an ending to those, though I’m resigned to the fact that it will never happen. 😦
