The Sims Book Tag

Hello bookworms!
I hope you are all having a great week. I was tagged by Michaela @ Journey into Books to do The Sims Book Tag! She is so sweet and has a great blog, so be sure to check her out. I used to play Sims all the time a few years ago. I originally got into the game when I could play it on Facebook and once they took it down on there, I started playing it on my phone. It has probably been about two years since I played the game though, so this tag is bringing lots of memories back. So let’s jump into the tag!

The creator of this tag is Hailey @ Hailey In Bookland

The Original Sims: The Best Author Debut
Caraval by Stephanie Garber – This book came out in 2017 and I read it almost as soon as it was released and loved it so much! It was so amazing, and to this day I still think it’s a great book.

Crooked Kingdom1

The Grim Reaper: The Saddest Character Death
Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo – I don’t want to spoil anything for those who have not read this series, but if you have, then you know who I’m talking about. Tears were just flowing down my face and they wouldn’t stop.

Sims Getting Stuck: A Character That Got in the Way
A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas – Tamlin. Tamlin may seem like a great guy in the first book in this series but he just causes problems and trouble in the rest of the series.

The Language of Thorns1

Simlish: A Book with Amazing Writing
The Language of Thorns: Midnight Tales and Dangerous Magic by Leigh Bardugo – This book of dark fairy tales was so beautifully written. I was told that it had great writing but I was still blown away.

The Lunar Chronicles1

Expansion Packs: A Series Where the Books Kept On Getting Better
The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer – This is one of my favorite series and it really does get better and better as you read. Also, the books get bigger and bigger but I don’t mind because the story was so amazing!

Sims Romance: The Worst Case of Insta Love
Mayfly by Jeff Sweat – This was a recent read for me and I just hated the insta love. Two characters who are just friends but by chapter 3, are in love with each other. I just can’t…

Cheats: A Book That Was Entirely Unrealistic
Fireworks by Katie Cotugno – This book is about two friends. One has spent her life singing and dancing so that she can get discovered, while the other, has no experience. So when the experienced friend goes to an audition and her friend tags along for support she gets lucky enough to audition as well. Then they both get picked to be in this 4 person girl band…

I Believe In a Thing Called Love1

Needs Fulfillment: A Character Who Made All the Wrong Decisions
I Believe In a Thing Called Love by Maurene Goo – The main character, Desi makes some of the WORST decisions in this book. She goes too far to make a boy like her and it’s ridiculous.

Grishaverse Trilogy2

Error Code 12: A Series That Started Off Great but Went Downhill From There
The Grisha Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo – Wow, Leigh Bardugo is on this list a lot. Now, I did not enjoy this series at all. But I think the first book is the best of the three and well it just gets worse from there.

Scythe and Thunderhead1

Sims Vortex: A Book/Series That Completely Engrossed You
Scythe & Thunderhead by Neal Shusterman – This is probably no surprise but the Arc of a Scythe series is my favorite of all time! The two books just make you want to keep reading and never stop. Highly recommend, if you haven’t read them yet.

Or if you just aren’t a fan of The Sims, I totally understand. And if you are reading and you do like The Sims and would like to try this tag out, then I tag you as well. Thanks for reading, cya!
